For new bookkeeping clients, or simply those new in business, our initial QuickBooks Set-Up and Consulting Service creates a new company file or repairs your existing one for a $495 service fee. - Data to bring database current
- Bank Reconciliations to bring current
- Credit Card Reconciliations to bring current
- Review of Reports
- Streamline the statements process
- Teaching you how to understand the Accounting of your business
Ongoing Bookkeeping
Hourly rate – $95 per.
Expect 2 to 3 hours monthly for an average-sized, small company. Remember that you are outsourcing your accounting department until which time you grow the business into such a size that you take the accounting in-house. Most small businesses run efficiently and long term for this approximate $300 a month. Micro-businesses may even get away with a quarterly service.
Annual Repair
Touching your books only one time a year is discouraged. You are wasting your time, your CPA’s time, and the bookkeeper’s time. The reports that you should have throughout the year don’t help you when you need them while you are running your business and the tax preparer has nothing to review before, during, or after tax time. Stay on top of your books throughout the year. Project quote and seasonal availability, meaning “not during tax season.”
